His Excellency Ali Abu Ragheb Assigns Successor to Zaid Al Rifai

In a significant leadership transition, His Excellency Ali Abu Ragheb has officially announced the appointment of a successor to Zaid Al Rifai during a meeting held in october. This benchmark is a pivotal moment for our community, as the new appointee brings a wealth of experience and a fresh vision for the future. The meeting, attended by esteemed board members highlighted the commitment to uphold the club’s values and mission. We look forward to welcoming the new successor and supporting their initiatives as they step into this important role. 

Ali Hussein Mohammed Abu al-Ragheb was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1946. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee, USA, graduating in 1967. As a prominent Jordanian politician, he served as the country’s Prime Minister from 2000 to 2003. During his tenure, he focused on economic reforms and modernization, including liberalizing the economy, promoting investment, and fostering more open policies toward global markets. His leadership also saw significant advancements in infrastructure development across Jordan. 

His excellency has been a dedicated member of the King Hussein Club for many years. He has served on the Club’s Board of Directors for two decades, and since 2022, he has held the position of Vice President. On October 10, 2024, he was further recognized for his ongoing contributions to the Club’s success and growth.
